Hunter Mountain Film Festival honors the skill of filmmaking by connecting ambitious independent artist to share, learn, communicate, and network over the three day festival. We set out to create a one of a kind film experience. At Hunter Mountain, we are not only creating a celebration of film but an interactive mountain adventure. For three days, you will be privy to many great films, parties, panels all while being surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery upstate New York has to offer.

Thanks to the Catskill Mountain Foundation which has made possible the use of the Orpheum Film and Performing Arts Center and the Doctorow Center for the Arts for this film festival.

Only 2 hours away from NYC, Hunter Mountain is the perfect festival destination bringing in many industry representatives to make your selection to this festival an exciting premiere event. The insightful, thought-provoking films by these visionaries will be displayed throughout the three days, and awarded for the works of art that they are. Screening the best feature films, short films, web/new media, student films and music videos.

We believe in sharing knowledge and supporting our film community by providing as many panel discussions as possible to our film goers for an interactive learning experience. Our panel discussions will be a range of guest speakers from the film industry, Panels may include directors, producers, distribution representatives, casting directors, talent agents and actors discussing current trends and various topics with dealing in todays film market.
